Ann-Christin have ​published two academic books, both in Swedish. The first book, Professionell röstanvänding i läraryrket, was released in 2017 with the Swedish publisher Studentlitteratur. ​
The second book, Resiliens i förskolan - att stärka barns välmående, delaktighet och handlingskraft, was co-written with professor Mia Heikkilä and released in 2022 with the Swedish publisher Natur & Kultur. 

She has also published chapters in English in academic international books:

A Quilt of Practices: Sustainability Education in Finnish Early Childhood and Care was published on June 3rd 2022 in the book Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care: A Multi-Theoretical Perspective on Research and Practice by editors Harju-Luukkainen, Kangas & Garvis on SPRINGER NATURE.
 
Supporting Sustainable Futures Through Teacher Resilience: A Case Study from Finland by Furu, A.-C. & Heikkilä, M., was published on April 6th 2025 in the book Generating sustainable futures through teacher education : Globally Rethinking Higher Education by editors Harju-Luukkainen, Garvis, Kangas, Marôco, Maunula & Maunumäki on SPRINGER NATURE.
